Glen Phillips and Grant Lee Phillips, live at Freight & Salvage

January 15th, 2010 · No Comments

I saw two of my favorite artists – Glen Phillips and Grant Lee Phillips – last night at Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley last night.  Both performances were great.  They played a couple of songs together:

Radiohead at Outside Lands Festival

August 24th, 2008 · No Comments

I finally got a chance to see Radiohead live at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival on Friday. This was one of the best live shows that I’ve ever seen despite some audio problems.

Here are some video highlights. My camera was pretty shaky but the audio quality isn’t too bad.

Sonos

June 15th, 2007 · No Comments

One of my favorite gadget purchases of the past couple of years has been Sonos. It’s a great way to stream music throughout your house. The source of the music can be mp3′s, music subscription services such as Rhapsody, internet radio, even line-in sources such as an iPod. You can set up multiple “zones” in the house either playing different music or synched up to play the same music. One of the most requested features on the Sonos forums has been integration with Pandora. They added that a few weeks ago and it works great. Here’s an interview / demo with Sonos CEO John McFarlane from Robert Scoble’s ScobleShow.

Here’s a photo of my Sonos controller running Pandora.

The Police Concert

I saw The Police play at McAfee Coliseum (Oakland, CA) last night. The highlight of the show for me was ‘So Lonely’. Here’s a video of their performance of that song from last week’s Seattle show.
